Option 2:
This option installs RinkWriter®
into the "Program
Files" folder on your "C: Drive".
Option
1 should work on most computers, however, depending on the files that already
exist on your computer, you may need to use Option 2.
| Downloading
RinkWriter®
for
Option 2: |
- "Browse" and "Save" the zipped
"RinkWriter_Package" folder to your desktop.
- This zipped folder contains a "setup" file.
- You may copy and paste this folder to other
computers.

Download the zipped "RinkWriter_Package"
folder. |
- Open the zipped "RinkWriter_Package"
folder you have downloaded and run the "setup". It should
automatically install RinkWriter®
into the "Program Files" folder on your
C: drive.
| Locate the RinkWriter®
Folder: |
- The newly installed "RinkWriter" folder should be located inside of the "Program Files" folder on
your C: drive.
| Moving the Software to Your
Desktop: |
- To take advantage of RinkWriter's®
many features, it is recommended
that you place a copy of the
"RinkWriter" on your desktop.
- Copy the "RinkWriter" folder that now in your
"Programs Files".
- Paste the "RinkWriter" folder onto your
Desktop.
- It is possible to have more
than one "RinkWriter" folder on your desktop.
- Open your new desktop "RinkWriter" folder.
- Double-click on the "RinkWriter.exe"
icon
to open/run the RinkWriter software.
- The first time you run the software, an "app.pathRW02"
folder is automatically created
inside of your "RinkWriter" folder.
- The "app.pathRW02" folder
contains all of your data.

| Learning to use RinkWriter®: |
- For your convenience, the RinkWriter®
software has been set up with two fictitious boys' high school teams (Moose River & Wolfe Lake Falls).

Practice using RinkWriter®
by creating fictitious
scoresheets for the two preinstalled rosters. You may add and save your
own teams and
rosters.
- It is possible to have more
than one "RinkWriter" folder on your desktop.
